U.S. Wants ‘Anti-Aircraft Shield’ Against Hackers

Homeland defense Honcho Michael Chertoff said yesterday that he wants the 3rd generation of the government’s anti cyber attack system to be “literally, like an anti-aircraft weapon, shoot down an attack before it hits its target.” (Why do humans say

“literally” when they mean the opposite?) whether Chertoff gets his way, the system, called Einstein 3.0, would “look for early indications of computer skullduggery and STOP IT BEFORE IT HAPPENS.” “Skullduggery”?
