You didn’t know that Mitsubishi was making cellphones? May be that is why they are giving up that market that is intensely competitive. To be fair, Mitsubishi is a player in Japan with sales of nearly a Billion dollars a year. However, that is not adequate to

keep the company in that business. It thinks that it will do better in investing elsewhere, and to be honest, it is probably a good decision.
